Third-party components

QInventor uses the unmodified official FreeCAD 1.1.4 Windows x86-64 Python 3.11 portable distribution, including Open CASCADE, Qt, Coin3D, Python, Sketcher, PartDesign, Assembly, TechDraw, Draft, CAM, FEM and their dependencies.

This project's MIT license applies only to QInventor's own source. Users can replace the runtime with a compatible official distribution; QInventor does not modify or statically link FreeCAD. Runtime source is available at the release link above.

Autodesk and Autodesk Inventor are trademarks of Autodesk, Inc. QInventor is an independent application and has no affiliation with Autodesk. Native Inventor IPT/IAM/IDW interoperability and identical internal proprietary algorithms are not implemented. Use neutral STEP/IGES formats to exchange models.
