# Third-party components

QInventor uses the unmodified official FreeCAD 1.1.4 Windows x86-64 Python 3.11
|
|
portable distribution, including Open CASCADE, Qt, Coin3D, Python, Sketcher,
|
|
PartDesign, Assembly, TechDraw, Draft, CAM, FEM and their dependencies.
|
|
|
|

The upstream distribution's license, COPYING and dependency notices remain in

`runtime`. This project's MIT license applies only to QInventor's own source.

|
Users can replace the runtime with a compatible official distribution; QInventor
|
|
does not modify or statically link FreeCAD. Runtime source is available at the
|
|
release link above.
|
|
|
|
Autodesk and Autodesk Inventor are trademarks of Autodesk, Inc. QInventor is
|
|
an independent application and has no affiliation with Autodesk. Native Inventor
|
|
IPT/IAM/IDW interoperability and identical internal proprietary algorithms are
|
|
not implemented. Use neutral STEP/IGES formats to exchange models.
